An Electronic Speed Control (ESC) is used in an electric airplane to control the throttle (speed) of your plane. ESC's give the pilot very precise throttle performance, allowing the beginner pilot greater control of the plane for stable controlled flight, while providing the experienced pilot the precision to perform greater aerobatic and thrilling maneuvers.
